Our experience with AKM was smooth and about as easy as frustrating house repairs come. I initially contacted him about repairing some siding corner pieces that were damaged from the derecho in 2020. We had reached out to several other contractors in Eastern Iowa over the course of 2020-2021 to get bids and all of them either didn't get back to us or quoted incredibly high, wanting to replace our entire west-facing siding.
After getting in touch, Austin assured us he could complete the work without having to replace everything, and the project was complete in less than a week. He was thorough and upfront about pricing, timeline, etc. Definitely wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to family and friends - thank you Austin!

Austin was absolutely awesome! His crew was fast courteous, very nice very efficient! I gave them a bag of mixed Hershey kisses and Reese‘s peanut butter cups as a treat. They were very grateful. I gave Austin a cash tip because cash is king always appreciated from small businesses, thank you Austin and your crew for all your hard dedication and extremely fast work. Everything looks awesome.

AKM made me feel at ease throughout the process. They were able to meet with the insurance adjuster and work on my behalf. The guys were able to schedule quickly afterwards and get the job done with excellence. They were always upfront to avoid hidden costs. Roof looks great.
